Ramesh Biscuits Co.

We have been running Ramesh Biscuits Co. for a long time now. You can find us at Rohera House on Maharshi Dayanand Marg in Saijpur. It is not some big fancy factory with glass walls. It is just an old building where we bake every single day. The smell of flour and sugar is always in the air around here. Sometimes the ovens get too hot and we have to open all the doors to let the breeze in from the street. Our neighbors in Saijpur probably know when we are starting a new batch just by the scent. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy letters. It is just us and a few workers who have been with us for years. We get our supplies delivered early in the morning and the trucks struggle with the narrow turns near the house. It is a bit of a mess sometimes, honestly. The floor usually has a dusting of flour on it no matter how much we sweep. We use old recipes that we haven't changed much because they work. People ask why we don't expand or move to a bigger place, but this spot on Maharshi Dayanand Marg feels right. It is where we started. We just focus on getting the biscuits out to the local shops before the sun goes down. It is hard work and my back usually hurts by five o'clock, but that is just how it is.
