Our place is located at Plot No. 161 in Ahmedabad, right behind the Ramkrishna Tripathi School. If you’re driving down Nobalnagar Road toward Kotarpur, you can’t really miss the turn. Being near a school means we hear the bell ring a few times a day, which is a nice break from the usual sounds of our kitchen and packing area. We deal with a lot of food items here, so the smell changes depending on what we are processing that morning. Sometimes it’s spices, other times it’s something sweeter. It’s a busy environment with people moving crates and checking labels constantly. The Gujarat heat is no joke, so we try to get the heavy lifting done early in the morning before it gets too intense. We’ve got a decent-sized warehouse area, though it always seems to feel a bit small when we have a lot of stock coming in. The floor is kept as clean as possible, which is a never-ending task when you're working with food. Our staff mostly lives nearby in the Ahmadabad area, so we’ve become a bit of a tight-knit group over the years. We don't really do the corporate thing with long meetings. Usually, we just talk over what needs to be done while standing near the loading dock. It’s a practical way to run things, and it works for us. We just keep moving and keep the food going out.
