Punjab Steel Forging & Agro Industries

We are situated along the G.T. Road on the Khanna side, which is a pretty busy stretch of highway with constant movement. Punjab Steel Forging & Agro Industries has been part of this landscape for quite some time now. The post box is No. 70, but most people just look for our gate off the main road. It’s a noisy place with the forge running and the heavy trucks passing by outside at all hours. We deal with a lot of steel work and parts for agricultural machinery. This area is known for this kind of industry, so we fit right in with the neighbors and other shops. The guys in the workshop have been doing this for years and they have the calluses to prove it. It’s hard work, especially when the weather is hot, but it’s honest work that we take pride in. We don't have a polished front office. Instead, there’s a lot of soot and the smell of hot metal in the air. We keep our records in some old filing cabinets and try to keep the dust off the computers as much as we can. Every morning starts with a check of the day's production and seeing what steel stock we have left in the yard. Sometimes customers just drop by to see how their orders are coming along. We sit and talk over a glass of water while the hammers are going in the back. It’s just the way things are done around here.
