Bansal Engg. Works

Bansal Engg. Works is located right on Railway Road. It’s a busy spot with trains passing by not too far off. We’ve been in this building for a long time, and everyone on the street knows where we are. Our workshop is full of the usual tools you’d expect for engineering work. We do a lot of welding and cutting. It’s loud and it gets quite hot in the summer, but we’re used to it. The walls are a bit stained from the grease and the smoke, which just shows how much work goes on here. We take in projects from all over the local area. Sometimes it’s a small fix for a farmer’s tool, and other times it’s a bigger piece of machinery for a factory. We don't have a front desk or a receptionist. You just walk in and talk to whoever isn't currently wearing a welding mask. We keep our own hours mostly, staying late if a project is behind schedule. The floor is concrete and hard on the feet, but that’s the job. We grew up around these machines and we know how to make them behave. It isn't a polished corporate office by any means. It’s just a place where things get built and fixed. We’re just glad we can usually figure out a solution for most mechanical problems that come through the door. It is simple work, but it keeps the local industries running and helps our neighbors too.
