NEW DHIMAN MECH. WORKS is out on Sanipur Road in Sirhind, Fatehgarh Sahib, Punjab. Being in Punjab, we’re surrounded by a lot of energy and hard-working people. Our shop is right on the road, so we see a lot of people passing by. It’s a mechanical workshop through and through. We have grease on our hands most of the day and the floor is never really clean no matter how much we sweep. But that’s fine because work is being done. We handle repairs and make parts for machines. The guys here have been working with metal for years, so they know the sounds a machine makes when it's not running right. We don't have a website or a big office. We just have our tools and our reputation in Sirhind. If someone has a problem with their equipment, they bring it to us on Sanipur Road. We don't make big promises or use fancy words. We just look at the problem and try to fix it. Sometimes it takes a few tries, but we get there. The tea stall nearby is where we spend our breaks, talking about the day's work. It’s a simple setup, but it’s ours. We’ve been part of this community for a long time and we don't plan on going anywhere. It’s just us, working away in Fatehgarh Sahib. We enjoy the routine and the people who stop by.
