Shah Steels

Shah Steels is located at No. 18/302 on Nadakadavu Road, right near the Palluruthy Police Station. If you’re driving down that way, you can’t really miss us because of all the metal sitting around. We mostly deal with different kinds of steel for building and whatever else people need. It’s a noisy place, honestly, with the cutting and loading going on most of the day. We’ve been at this spot for quite some time now. The police station is a good landmark if you’re trying to find the shop for the first time. We handle a lot of heavy lifting here. It’s not the cleanest job, as there's always dust and metal scraps on the floor, but that's how a steel yard works. We don't spend much time on fancy office work. Most of our day is spent out on the floor or helping someone load a truck with beams or rods. Sometimes the traffic on Nadakadavu Road gets a bit backed up, which makes deliveries a bit slow, but we do what we can. We know most of the local builders who stop by to pick up supplies. It’s a simple operation. We just sell steel and try to keep the inventory organized so people can get what they need and get back to their job sites. There’s no big sales pitch here, just the materials and the price. We work hard and keep things moving. There is always something to weld or a truck to unload.
