Sahu Metals

Sahu Metals is located at 236, Sa Road, in the Janatha area of Vyttila. If you know Ernakulam, you know Vyttila is a busy crossroads for just about everything. Our place is usually full of metal scraps, sheets, and various bits and pieces we’ve collected. It’s a loud business, with the clanging of metal being the soundtrack to our days. We don’t have a polished showroom with bright lights. Instead, we have stacks of material and a scale that gets a lot of use. The office is just a small corner where we handle the cash and the receipts. It gets pretty humid here, especially in the afternoons, so we usually have the fan going full blast. We don't go in for fancy talk or trying to impress anyone with big words. We just buy and sell metal. People from all over Janatha and the rest of Ernakulam drop by with stuff they don't need or looking for something specific for a project. We’ve been at this for a long time, so we can usually tell what something is just by looking at it. The work is dirty and heavy, but it’s honest. We don’t have any big corporate goals; we just want to make sure the piles are moving and the customers are satisfied with the price. It’s just another day at the yard on Sa Road, and that’s fine by us.
