Taj Steel

We are based in the Thaikkudam Building. It’s over in Vazhakkala, right near the Thrikkakara Post Office. It’s a good landmark because everyone in the area knows where the post office is. Taj Steel is a very straightforward place. We have our stock piled up and a small area for people to come in and talk to us. The building is older, but it stays cool enough even when it's hot outside. We spend most of our time tracking the orders and checking the inventory we have left. Vazhakkala is a busy neighborhood with a lot of new construction going on lately. We see a lot of people passing by on their way to the post office. Sometimes they stop in just to ask about the prices of steel. We aren't a big corporation or anything. It's just a local business where we know most of our regular customers by their names. The back area is where all the heavy lifting and loading happens. We have a few guys who help us with the loading into the trucks. It’s a lot of physical work, especially when the weather is humid and sticky. We just try to keep things as organized as we can. The floor is usually covered in bits of metal or dust from the yard. We don't mind it. It’s just part of the daily job. We've been here for some time and we just keep doing the same things every day.
