Same Constructions Private Limited is located on the first floor of the Cicfs building. It’s right near the old Aanavathil Junction on Ictt Road in Kalamassery. If you know Ernakulam, you know this area gets pretty busy. Being up on the first floor gives us a bit of a view of the traffic, which is usually backed up. We spend our days dealing with construction projects. It’s a lot of back and forth with contractors and trying to keep everything on schedule. The office is tucked away in Udyogamandal P.O., and it’s a functional space with a couple of rooms for meetings. We aren't doing anything too complicated, just the standard stuff that comes with running a construction firm. Ernakulam is a fast-growing place so there is always something happening. Most of us here have been in the trade for a long time. We don't go in for big meetings or long presentations. It’s more about looking at drawings and making sure the costs aren't going crazy. The phone rings a lot, usually someone asking about a project status. We just try to answer honestly and keep things moving. It’s a steady job. Sometimes we stay late when a deadline is coming up. That’s just the way it goes at Same Constructions. We’re just a bunch of people working in a busy part of Kerala.
