Our spot is over at 21 Chakkuvally Road in Puthiyakavu. It is a straightforward kind of place where we handle a lot of steel. The road outside can get a bit muddy when it rains, so we have to be careful about moving the heavy loads. Inside the gates, you will see piles of metal and beams stacked up. This is not the kind of place where you would want to wear your best clothes because everything is a bit rough and industrial. We have been at this location for some time now. Regulars often drive their trucks down Chakkuvally Road to pick up materials for their construction jobs. The building itself is mostly a warehouse with a small office area where we keep the ledger and the phone. Usually, it is just one or two of us around to help out with things. We spend a lot of time checking the weights and making sure the lengths are right for whatever project is going on in Puthiyakavu. Big slogans or fancy promises aren't part of our business. We just show up, open the gates, and start moving the steel around. The work is heavy and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. If someone needs steel, they usually know to come find S S Steels on the road. It is just a practical business for people who need materials.
