Prabhu Steel

Prabhu Steel is right here in Thrikkakara, specifically near the Go Quarters. It’s a local spot that most people in the neighborhood recognize. We handle a lot of steel products here. The yard is usually full of rusted rods and heavy sheets. It can get pretty loud when we are moving things around with the crane. We’ve been here for a good while. The rain sometimes makes things difficult because the ground gets muddy and slippery, but we manage to keep working. We aren't a massive corporation with fancy suits. It’s more of a family-run feel. We have a few guys who have been with us for years and years. They know the stock better than anyone else here. We don't have a website or anything fancy like that. People just know to come by when they need steel for a small building project or a fence. We try to be fair with everyone who walks in. The office is just a small room in the corner of the lot. It’s mostly just for keeping the books and taking phone calls from customers. We don't put on any acts or try to look bigger than we are. We are just here to sell steel and help people get their buildings finished. It’s hard work and your hands get dirty, but it’s what we do every day. The neighborhood has grown a lot since we first opened our gates. We hope to stay here for much longer and keep serving the folks.
