Up on the 10th floor of the Suti Suit building in Vytilla, that’s where you’ll find us. Plamoode Developers has been operating out of this Kochi office for a while now. Looking out the window at the Ponnurnni North area gives you a good view of how much the city is changing every day. It’s pretty busy around here, especially with the traffic down below, but it’s a good spot to keep an eye on things. We spend most of our mornings going through plans and checking on the progress of different sites around Ernakulam. It’s a lot of coordination, really. Someone has to make sure the cement arrives and the workers know what they are doing for the day. We aren't trying to be some huge international firm; we are just a local office doing development work. Sometimes the elevators in the building take forever, and we end up running late to meetings, which is just part of being in Kochi. We have a few desks, a lot of rolled-up blueprints, and a coffee machine that gets a lot of use. The 682019 zip code is where we spend most of our time. It’s a practical setup. We handle the bits and pieces of construction and land work that come our way. It isn't always glamorous, but it’s the work we know how to do. We just keep plugging away at it.
