Gehoben Builders Private Limited is run out of Thadathil House. We are located in Poothrikka, which is part of the Ernakulam district here in Kerala. Working from Thadathil House gives us a bit of space to think. We are a private limited company, so there is the usual business side of things to manage every day. We spend a lot of time talking to people about their building needs. It’s a lot of practical work, nothing too glamorous. We might be out at a site or sitting at the table going over some drawings. Ernakulam is a big place with lots of different areas, and being in Poothrikka lets us stay connected to the local community. We don't have a glossy reception area or a fleet of fancy cars. We just have our tools, our experience, and the office space here. Most of our work comes from people who know us or have seen what we do around the neighborhood. It’s a simple way of doing things, but it works for us. We keep our overheads low and just focus on getting the buildings up right. Kerala weather can be a challenge sometimes, but we’ve learned how to work around the monsoon seasons over the years. It is a steady life here at the house, working on the next project and keeping things simple.
