We're over in Mekkad, right near Akaparamb in the Nedumbasserry area. Most people know us from being around Parayil House. It's usually pretty busy here with the welding sounds and the guys moving steel around the shed. We started doing fabrication because that’s what we knew how to do, and it stuck. It’s hot work, especially in the afternoons when the sun hits the metal, but we get through it. There’s a lot of dust sometimes, and our clothes usually have some grease or rust on them by the end of the day. We don't have a big fancy office or anything like that. Just the workspace and the tools we need to get the fabrication and building jobs finished. Sometimes the rain slows things down, especially during the monsoon months when the site gets muddy. We’ve been at this address, 7/345, for a while now. Neighbors see us coming and going early in the morning. We just focus on the projects people bring us, whether it's a small frame or something bigger for a local house. People just drop by the shop if they need something fixed or built. It’s not a complicated setup. We just show up, do the work, and go home to our families in Ernakulam. It's a steady life and it keeps us busy enough throughout the week. We don't try to be something we aren't, we just stick to the basics of fabrication.
