We operate Constronivarna Design Consultancy And Builders Private Limited from the first floor of Geo Infopark, located inside the Kinfra Park at Ernakulam. Being in the Infopark area means we are surrounded by a lot of tech companies, but we are more about the physical side of things. We do a mix of designing plans and actually getting the buildings up. It is a bit of a process, going from a drawing on a screen to a real wall. The office is usually full of half-finished sketches and coffee mugs. We aren't a big corporate firm; we are just a few people who like to figure out how spaces can work better. Ernakulam is always changing, so there is plenty of work to do. We don't go in for big marketing speeches or polished presentations. If someone wants to build something, we just sit down and talk about the budget and the space they have. Sometimes we disagree on where a window should go, and we have to argue it out until it makes sense. It is an honest way to work. We spend our days between the office and the various sites we have going on. The traffic in Ernakulam can be a real pain, so we try to plan our site visits carefully. It is just a regular job for us, trying to make things that people can actually use without charging them for things they don't need.
