We operate out of a suite on the first floor of the A Square building in Edathala. It’s room 68F, specifically. Ashlar Construction Engineers & Contractors is a bit of a long name, but we mostly just focus on the engineering and contracting side of things. It's a One Person Company, so it’s a fairly tight operation without a lot of extra fluff. We handle a variety of construction tasks around here. Being in a business center like A Square helps us stay connected with other local businesses. We aren't into big fancy advertisements; we just show up and do the work that’s assigned to us. Sometimes the deadlines get tight, and we end up staying late at the office to finish up the paperwork. It’s just the way the construction business goes. The Edathala area is a good spot for us because it’s central to a lot of the sites we work on. We deal with the usual stuff like permits, labor, and making sure the math is right on the engineering side. It can be stressful when things don't go exactly as planned, but we just figure it out as we go. We don't have a big staff, so whoever you talk to is usually the one actually doing the work. It keeps things simple and honest. There’s always something new to deal with every day, which keeps us on our toes.
