Out here on NCC Road in Ambalamukku, things stay pretty busy. We are based in Faizy Manzil, and if you know the Trivandrum area, you know how the traffic gets around here in the afternoons. Our day usually starts with a lot of tea and then checking on whatever building projects or real estate deals are currently on the table. It is not always easy work, especially when the sun is beating down and you have to be out at a site checking on the foundation. We do real estate and construction, so there is a lot of back and forth between the office and different plots of land. People stop by the office to ask about property prices or to see how a project is coming along. We try to keep things straightforward. There is no point in making things more complicated than they need to be. The post office is nearby, which is handy for all the letters we have to send out. We have been working from this part of Thiruvananthapuram for some time now. Some days are long, especially when we are trying to close a deal or finish up a specific part of a build. We just keep at it, making sure the walls are straight and the paperwork is in order. It is a local business, and we know the neighborhood well. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish up some drawings or check on a contract.
