Swarnrekha Agro Farmers Producer Company Limited

We’re a group of local farmers working out of the Bazar Tand area. Our small company, Swarnrekha Agro, is based at Kumar Abhay’s place, which you’ll find at Kantkhata No. 143, Plot No. 1275. Most of us have been around here our whole lives, working the same land our fathers did before us. We aren’t some big corporate setup with a fancy office and shiny cars. It’s mostly just us in our regular work clothes, sitting around a table trying to figure out how to get our crops to the market without losing money. We handle different kinds of produce depending on what the season allows. Sometimes the rains are good and things are easy, but other years we really have to struggle with the dry soil. Being part of this producer company helps us share the load when things get difficult. We talk about seeds, fertilizers, and who has a tractor we can borrow for the week. It's a very practical arrangement. We don’t have a marketing department or anyone writing speeches for us. We just write down what we’ve done in our ledgers and hope the prices at the market stay fair. Life around Bazar Tand is mostly about the work and the weather. We're just trying to make sure our families are taken care of at the end of the year. If you come by the plot, you'll see we're just regular people doing the same labor we've always done. It’s a lot of long days under the sun, but it’s the life we know.
