Kraftribe Producer Company Limited

Kraftribe Producer Company Limited is based over at Raghunathpur Nimdih in Chandil. We operate out of Arjun Mahli's place. It’s a local operation through and through. We work with tribal crafts and items that people in this area have been making for a long time. It isn't a factory setting with machines. Most things are done by hand, which takes a lot of time and patience. We spend our days looking at the work people bring in and helping them find a way to sell it. Chandil is a nice area but it can be hard for people here to reach the bigger markets. That is where we come in. We handle the logistics and the talking part of the business. Sometimes we have a lot of items piled up waiting for a buyer, and other times we can't keep up with the demand. It’s a bit unpredictable. We aren't looking to become some massive brand; we just want to make sure the skills people have here don't go to waste. You can usually find us sitting around with a cup of tea discussing the latest designs or how to get better materials. It is a slow process but we enjoy it. Arjun’s house is always busy with people coming and going. It feels more like a community project than a strict business most of the time, which is just the way we like to work.
