Ichagarh Wadi Producer Company Limited

Ichagarh Wadi Producer Company Limited is based out in the village of Ghorenegi in the Chandil area. We are located at the house of the son of Abani Kumar Das. This is in the Saraikela Kharswan district. Our area is mostly rural and we deal with a lot of farming work, especially stuff related to the wadi projects. It’s not a big corporate setup with lots of employees. We are just a group of people from the local villages who came together. We get together to talk about how to manage the fruit trees and the other crops we are growing. The office is really just a room in the house where we keep our books and registers. Abani Kumar Das is a name everyone around here knows quite well. We don't have many employees or fancy equipment. Most of us spend our time outside under the sun. The weather here can be really hot, so we usually do our heavy work early in the morning before it gets too bad. We started this company because we wanted to have some say in how our products are sold to the buyers. It’s been a long learning process for all of us. We make mistakes and we learn as we go along. We don't have a website or a marketing team. If you need to find us, you have to come down the road to Ghorenegi. It's a quiet place but we are always doing something.
