It’s a bustling part of East Delhi, and the traffic on Vikas Marg can be a nightmare during rush hour. Our office isn't very large, but it fits our small team. We have a few computers and a printer that occasionally jams when we are trying to print out site plans. We do construction work, which means we are usually out of the office more than we are in it. Being in Shakarpur is convenient because it’s central to many of the places we work. We don't have a big corporate culture here. It’s more about drinking some chai and figuring out how to solve the latest problem at a building site. Most of the time, our boots are a bit dirty from the mud and cement. We’ve been here for a while and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. It’s a practical place for us. We don’t do any fancy marketing. Most of our work comes from people who know us or have seen our signs at project sites. We just keep our heads down and focus on the bricks and mortar.
