Our place is located in Laxmi Nagar, specifically at H-63 on the ground floor near Vijay Chowk. If you’ve ever been to East Delhi, you know that Laxmi Nagar is one of those areas that never really sleeps. There is always a lot of noise from the market and people moving around outside our door. Being on the ground floor is convenient because we don’t have to deal with stairs or waiting for lifts, which is a plus when we are in a hurry. We mostly focus on infrastructure work and the various technical bits that come along with that. The office is a bit crowded with files and old maps, but we know where everything is kept. It is a practical space for a team that spends more time out on sites than sitting at desks. We usually have the radio playing softly in the background while we work through the pile of documents on our desks. Vijay Chowk is a landmark that everyone around here knows, so it makes it easy for people to find us. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just take a break and sit outside for a bit. We are just a group of people trying to get the job done and deal with the daily grind of running a business in a busy part of town. It’s not a glamorous life, but it keeps us busy and we like the neighborhood a lot.
