Shree Rang Art Gallery

You can find us at Prakash Trade Centre, B-30, right at Subhash Chowk. It is very close to Dr. Walia Nursing Home in Laxmi Nagar. I spend a lot of time just moving frames around and making sure the glass is clean. The gallery is not huge, but we have enough space for the paintings on the walls. The lights are usually the hardest part to get right so they do not glare on the art. Laxmi Nagar is always so busy and noisy, but once you come up to the trade centre, things settle down a bit. We get a lot of students and local people just wandering in to look at what is new. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, so people have to take the stairs to find us. I try to keep the place tidy but there is always a bit of packing tape or bubble wrap lying around in the corner. We do not have fancy events every day. Most of the time it is just me sitting here with the artwork. I like when people ask questions even if they are not buying anything. It is nice to see people interested in colors and shapes. The location is easy because of the nursing home landmark. We have been in this spot for a while now and the neighborhood feels like home to us.
