Neha Zari Art Hand Embriodry

We've been at B-90 Pandav Nagar for quite a while now. It’s a busy spot, but we like it here. Neha Zari Art Hand Embriodry is basically a small operation where we do a lot of needlework and hand-done embroidery stuff. It’s mostly just us working with threads and fabrics all day long. Some days it gets really crowded in the shop with all the materials lying around, but we manage. People come by when they need something specific done by hand because machines just don't get the zari work right. We use a lot of different needles and frames. It's a bit of a messy process to be honest, with thread ends everywhere on the floor, but that's just how it goes when you're working on these designs. The light in Pandav Nagar is okay during the day which helps with the fine details. We don't really have a big fancy office or anything like that. It's just a workspace where the actual work happens. Sometimes neighbors pop in just to see what we are making this week. It takes a lot of patience to do this kind of embroidery, your eyes get tired after a few hours of staring at the cloth. We usually have tea in the afternoon and then get back to it. It’s a simple living, really. Nothing too complicated, just keeping busy with the handwork and making sure we finish what we started.
