We are over at 239 in the Patparganj Industrial Area, specifically the F.I.E. section. It is a busy industrial estate in Delhi where there is always something going on. Our company, Monga Strayfield, has been operating out of this unit for a good while. The space is filled with technical equipment and parts for the drying systems we work on. It isn't a showroom; it’s a working factory floor. You will see people in overalls moving around and the smell of industrial paint or metal. We spend a lot of time on the technical side of things. Most of us here have been doing this for years, so we don't need much instruction anymore. We just get in, have some tea, and start on the day's tasks. The street outside is usually lined with trucks and the noise of the neighboring units. It is a gritty environment, but it feels like home to us. We don't have a polished front office with a receptionist. If you walk in, you’ll probably just meet one of the engineers or a supervisor. We talk about the work in plain English and don't try to make it sound more complicated than it is. It is about getting the machines built and tested before they leave the gate. It is hard work, but we are used to the pace of the industrial area and the long hours.
