If you’ve ever been to Vivek Vihar in East Delhi, you know it has its own pace. MKS Developers LLP is located at D 188, and it’s a pretty standard spot for us. We’ve been operating out of here for some time now. The building is easy to find if you know the lane, but otherwise, you might miss the turn. Inside, it’s mostly just the sound of calculators and people talking on their mobiles. Being in the 110095 area means we see a lot of the same faces every day. There’s a guy who brings the mail around noon, and that’s usually when things get a bit hectic with all the paperwork for the development sites. We don’t really have a receptionist or anything fancy like that. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just answers it. It gets quite dusty because of all the construction happening nearby, so we’re always wiping down the desks. The air conditioner in the main room makes a bit of a rattling noise, but it keeps the heat away during those Delhi summers. We do our best to stay on top of the projects we have going on. It’s not always easy, especially with the costs of materials jumping around so much lately. We just take it day by day. D 188 is where you’ll find us if there’s a meeting or if someone needs to drop off some plans.
