Marwar Art & Craft

Our place is in Shiv Arcade, which is in Mayur Vihar Phase I. If you’re looking for us, we are at 544 B. The arcade itself has seen better days, but it’s a decent spot to work from. Marwar Art & Craft is tucked away inside, and we spend most of our time surrounded by boxes and different pieces of craft work. It can get quite messy because there is always something being unpacked or wrapped up. The dust in Mayur Vihar can be a bit much, so we are constantly wiping down the shelves. We have a few regular people who stop by just to see what’s new. It’s not like those big malls where everything is shiny and perfect. Here, things are a bit more lived-in. We keep a kettle in the corner for making tea throughout the day. The afternoon sun hits the windows quite hard, so it gets warm in the shop. We try to stay on top of everything, but sometimes the shipments are late or something gets misplaced. That’s just part of the job. Most days involve a lot of packing tape and bubble wrap. We’ve been in this arcade for a while now, and we know most of the other shop owners around us. It’s a quiet enough community, though the parking outside is always a headache for everyone. We just keep our heads down and do our work.
