At Kunj Aluminium (P) Ltd., we operate out of 340/48, Gali No. 1B in the Friends Colony Indl. Area, right off the main G.T. Road. If you’ve ever tried to find Gali No. 1B, you know it can be a bit of a maze with all the other units around. Our space is usually filled with the sound of aluminium sections being moved or cut. Being near the G.T. Road is convenient for getting materials in and out, but the traffic can be a real headache some days. We’ve been at 340/48 for a good while, and our neighbors are all in similar trades. It’s a place where everyone is working and there isn’t much time for standing around. The walls are a bit stained from the industrial environment, and there is always a layer of fine dust on the windows. We don't have a big fancy office, just a small space for the records and a place to sit for a minute. Work at Kunj Aluminium starts early because the heat in Friends Colony can be intense by midday. We just focus on getting the orders right and keeping the machines running. It’s a practical way to spend the day. There is no corporate polish here, just a lot of metal, some sturdy gloves, and people who know their business inside out. Most days we eat lunch together on the shop floor before getting back to the stacks of aluminium.
