Our shop is tucked away at No. 1/11066 in Street No. 7 of Subhash Park, which is a pretty crowded part of Sahdra. Krishna Arts has been around for a while and the place is just filled with different things we’ve collected or worked on over time. There is a lot of dust that settles on the frames and the art pieces, so I spend a good chunk of my morning just wiping things down. The street outside is always noisy with people shouting and bikes zooming past, so it never feels quiet in here. We have a lot of stuff piled up in the corners and it's not the most organized place in the world, but I know where everything is. People from around the neighborhood stop in just to look or ask about getting something made. It’s not a high-end gallery or anything like that, just a local shop where we work with our hands. Sometimes the lighting is a bit dim in the back where I do most of the work, but I’ve gotten used to it. It’s a small business and we don’t have a lot of help, so I end up doing everything from cleaning to talking to customers. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes, but it’s our mess and we like it that way. We just keep our heads down and finish whatever work comes in.
