We are based over in Laxmi Nagar, at 162 5 J Extension, right in the thick of things in Delhi. If you know this area, you know how crowded it gets, but it's where we’ve set up shop for Exotica Developer. I spend most of my mornings looking at blueprints or dealing with the guys at the sites. It’s not always easy, especially with the weather or when materials get delayed, which happens more than I'd like. Our office is pretty simple. We have a couple of desks and a lot of folders stacked up. We deal with all the local stuff here, trying to get things built without too much trouble. Sometimes people just walk in asking about projects, and I have to clear off a chair for them to sit. Delhi is a tough place to build, with all the rules and the space being so tight, but we've been at it for a while now. It’s a lot of phone calls and checking on the progress of the brickwork or the plumbing. My brother helps me out with the accounts sometimes because I'm usually out on the street or at a site. It’s just a local business trying to keep things moving. We don't do big ads; most people just hear about us from someone else in the neighborhood. It’s loud outside with the horns and the markets, but we get our work done in here. It’s just how it is.
