Confix India Private Limited is situated at 216, Street No. 04 in Karkardooma. It’s a simple street and we are in a simple building. We don’t have a flashy sign or a lobby with a receptionist. When you walk in, you’re likely to see one of us hunched over a desk or talking loudly on a mobile phone. We’ve been operating out of this part of Delhi for a while. The neighborhood has its own rhythm, and we are part of it now. Our office is basically just a room where we store our records and plan our next steps. We aren't into fancy words or making ourselves sound bigger than we are. We just take on building work and try to finish it without too many headaches. Some days are smoother than others. When the monsoon hits, the street outside gets a bit muddy, but we still make it to the office. We spend a lot of time checking on supplies and making sure the workers at the sites have what they need. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s what we know. We don't have a corporate handbook. We just rely on common sense and the experience we’ve picked up over the years. If someone stops by, we usually have a chair for them and a glass of water. It’s an informal setup because that’s how we like to work. We just focus on the task and move on.
