You can find us in New Ashok Nagar, specifically at Office Number 304 on the third floor of B-292. It is right near the East & Appt area. There is no elevator, so we get our exercise climbing up the stairs every morning. The office is a bit small but it works for what we do. From the window, you can see the rooftops and the busy street below. Most of the day is spent on the phone or looking over drawings. East Delhi is always moving, and we are right in the middle of it. We deal with various infrastructure tasks. It’s mostly about coordinating between the clients and the laborers on the ground. Sometimes the site is far, so we spend a lot of time traveling back and forth. The desk is usually covered in site photos and half-empty water bottles. We aren't the type to wear suits. Jeans and sturdy shoes are more our style because we never know when we’ll have to head out to a dusty site. The office gets a bit hot in the summer despite the fan. We’ve been at this for a while now. We know the local vendors and where to get the best prices for cement and steel. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know. We just focus on the task at hand and try to make sure nothing gets messed up. It’s a straightforward business run by a few of us here every day.
