Adarsh Food Products

We are based in Krishna Nagar, at J-2/1. It is a local neighborhood setup where we make our food products. The space we have is divided into a small production area and a tiny office section where we handle the orders. It’s not a large-scale factory or anything like that. We started out small and have just stayed in this same spot as we grew a bit. Every morning, the first thing we do is clean everything down and get the ingredients ready for the day's work. There is a lot of manual labor involved, like packing the bags and sealing them up by hand. You can usually tell what we are making from the street because of the cooking smells. We have a few local ladies who help us with the packing. It’s a very informal atmosphere here. We don't have big meetings or fancy presentations. We just check what needs to be made and we get to it. Sometimes we run out of storage space and have to stack boxes in the hallway until the delivery van comes. The street outside is usually quiet, except for the occasional rickshaw or vegetable seller passing by. We know most of our customers by their first names because they’ve been buying from us for a long time. It’s a simple life and we just focus on making sure the food is fresh and the bags are filled properly.
