You can find us at Shop No 2 on Plot No A/140 in the DDA Flats of Jilmil Colony. We are located in Vivek Vihar, right near the local police station. Our office is a small room where we handle travel arrangements for people in the neighborhood. We have a couple of computers and a lot of brochures that are probably a bit out of date, but they look nice on the shelves. People come in mostly to ask about train tickets or bus routes. We spend a lot of time looking at schedules and trying to find the best times for people to travel. It’s a lot of typing and double-checking names and dates. Since we are near the police station, there is always some activity on the street. Jilmil Colony is a lived-in place, and many of our customers are people we see at the market every day. We don’t do big fancy tours; we mostly just help with the basics of getting from one place to another. Sometimes the booking systems are slow and we have to tell people to come back later. We try to be helpful and give the right information. It’s a quiet kind of work most days, but it gets busy before the holidays when everyone wants to go home to their villages or go on a small trip. We’ve been here for a while and just enjoy being the local travel spot.
