We are based in the basement of G-143 in Dilshad Colony. It’s near the Gol Chakar and New Seemapuri, specifically in Block G. Being in a basement means it stays a bit cooler in the summer, which is nice for us when the Delhi heat gets bad. It’s a quiet corner of Delhi compared to the main roads. We have our computers and files set up down here. Most people find us by looking for the Gol Chakar landmark. It’s a local operation. We handle travel bookings and help people figure out where they want to go. The office is simple, maybe a bit cramped when more than two people visit at once. We’ve got posters of different places on the walls, mostly to cover up the plain paint. The stairs down can be a little steep, so we tell people to watch their step. Since we are in Dilshad Colony, a lot of our neighbors are the ones who come in. We know most of the people who walk past our sign every day. It’s not a flashy business. We just sit here, do the work, and try to make sure everyone gets their tickets on time. Sometimes the internet is slow, which makes the job harder, but we get through it. It’s just a normal day-to-day life here in the basement, keeping things running for the folks around Seemapuri. We usually have the radio on in the background while we work on the papers and drink some tea.
