Kuhar Taxi Services

Kuhar Taxi Services is based out of the DDA Local Shopping Centre in Mayur Vihar Phase 1. Specifically, we are in Pocket-1, which is a fairly quiet part of the neighborhood compared to the rest of Delhi. We have been here for a while now, running our taxis from this small shop. It is not a massive operation with a big call center or anything like that. Usually, it is just one or two of us sitting by the phone, waiting for a neighbor or a local worker to call for a ride. We have a small bench outside where drivers sit and chat while they wait for their next trip to come in. The office is mostly just a place to keep the car keys and the logbooks. We know many of the people in Mayur Vihar by name because they use our cars every week to go to the market or the hospital. We do not have a fancy website or an app that tracks every single thing. We just use our mobile phones and our knowledge of the city streets. Traffic is always a bit of a gamble, especially near the main intersections, so we try to tell people to leave a bit early. The walls of the shop could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we have not gotten around to it yet. We are just focused on getting the cars out on time and making sure people get where they need to go.
