Our small office is over at B7/8 F in Mayur Vihar Phase 3. It is not on the main road, so it stays a bit quieter, which is nice for when we are trying to talk on the phone. We have a couple of desks pushed against the wall and a lot of old maps pinned up. Usually, the phone starts ringing early in the morning with people asking about bus prices or if a car is available for the weekend. We have been working from this same spot for quite a few years now. There is a tea stall just around the corner where we usually get our morning chai while we wait for the drivers to show up. Most of our day is spent dealing with the drivers and making sure they have the right addresses. Dealing with the traffic in Delhi is a constant topic of conversation here. We are not a big company with many branches, just a few of us making the schedules work. The paperwork can get a bit messy on the weekends, so we spend our Mondays just sorting through all the receipts. People from the nearby blocks often stop by just to ask for directions or to check prices for their next trip home. We keep a handwritten ledger for everything because we don't always trust the computer to save everything correctly.
