Dindori Organic Krishak Producer Company Limited is based out of the 111 Civil Lines area in Dindori. Specifically, we are at the office of the Project Director Atma, near the Up-Sanchalak Krishi Vibhag. Being in a government-related building area means it’s usually pretty formal around here, but our own operations are quite down to earth. We are a producer company, so our main focus is on the organic side of farming here in this part of Madhya Pradesh. There are a lot of farmers who come through these doors to talk about their crops and how the organic process is going. It can be a lot of paperwork sometimes, sitting there in Civil Lines and going through all the registers and membership lists. Dindori is a place where people really care about the land, and we try to reflect that in how we run things every day. We don't use any fancy language to describe ourselves or what we do. We are just here to help organize the krishaks and make sure the organic produce gets handled the right way. The 481880 area is where we spend most of our time, either in the office or out meeting people who are part of the collective. It’s a lot of coordination between different people. You’ll see us busy with files or talking on the phone with various local farmers. It’s honest work, and it keeps us busy.
