Aarasta Mahila Kisan Producer Company Limited is located in Dindori, specifically at Neche Tolakaran. We share space with Imran and Fareem, which has worked out well for us. Since we are a women’s farmer group, we spend a lot of time out in the villages rather than sitting in the office all day. Dindori is a beautiful place but the work is hard. We deal with all sorts of crops and the challenges that come with them. Sometimes the rains don’t come when they should, and other times we have too much. We all just sit together and try to figure out the best way forward. It is more like a big family than a company most of the time. We talk about seeds, fertilizers, and how to get a better price at the market. There is a lot of laughing and sometimes a bit of arguing, but that is how things get done. We don't have a polished website or a big sign outside. Most people hear about us through word of mouth. Being in the Tolakaran area means we are right in the middle of our community. We handle the paperwork for the farmers and try to make sure everyone is getting what they need to keep their farms going. It is honest work and we are glad to be doing it together as a local group.
