R. K. Steel Alloys

R. K. Steel Alloys is located over on G. T. Road on the Sirhind side. It’s a spot we’ve been in for quite a while now. The workshop isn't anything special to look at, just a big shed where we do our melting and mixing of metals. It gets pretty loud and dusty inside, especially when the machines are all running at once. We don't have a fancy office with a secretary or anything. Mostly, it's just us in our work clothes dealing with the steel. The road outside is always busy with trucks, which makes it easy for deliveries but sometimes a bit of a headache with the traffic. We handle all sorts of alloy work depending on what people come in and ask for. It’s hard, physical labor and our hands stay dirty most of the day. We don't spend much time thinking about marketing or making things look pretty. We just focus on the orders we have on the floor. My father started this whole thing years ago, and we just keep it moving. Sometimes the equipment acts up and we have to spend half the morning fixing a motor, but that’s part of the job. People find us because they know where we are on the Sirhind side. It’s a straightforward, honest way to make a living. We have a small group of guys here who know their way around a furnace. If you see the faded sign on the road, that’s us.
