Mehra Steel Works

Mehra Steel Works is located on Street No. 11, along Majri Akaliyan Road Baran. We are part of the G Green Park Colony area, which sits near Sirhind Road and Ram Nagar. Our shop is quite easy to find because we are very close to the Ram Temple, which is a big landmark for everyone around here. We do a lot of steel fabrication and repair work right here in the neighborhood. The street can be a bit narrow, so it is always a bit of a shuffle when a truck comes to drop off steel beams or pick up a finished gate. We have sparks flying from the welding most of the day, and the sound of the grinder is pretty constant. It is a local shop, and people from the colony often stop by just to say hello or ask if we can fix a small thing for them. The workspace is open to the air, which helps with the fumes, but it means we really feel the weather, whether it is raining or freezing cold. We have a lot of scrap metal piled in the corners and tools hanging on every available bit of wall space. It isn't a corporate setup by any means; it is just a local workshop where we work hard and try to do right by the people who come to us.
