We are located near the Industrial Focal Point in Mandi, right on the Gt Road. Our mailing address is Post Box 71. Smt Machines India Ltd. is the name of the place. Being near the Focal Point means there is always a lot of activity around us. Large trucks are constantly passing by on the Gt Road, so it gets pretty noisy in the mornings. We have a decent sized space here for all the machinery we use. It's an older building, but it serves its purpose well enough. We spend a lot of time on maintenance and making sure everything is running like it should. The floors are concrete and have their fair share of stains from years of heavy work. We aren't trying to impress anyone with how the place looks. It’s a working shop, plain and simple. We have a small office where we handle the mail and the bills when we have time. Most of the guys have been here for a long time, so we know how to work together without having to say much. The weather in Mandi can be a bit extreme during the winter, but we are used to it. We open the gates early to let the morning air in. It’s a steady pace of work here. We don't rush things because that’s when mistakes usually happen. It’s just a regular group of people doing machine work every day.
