You can find us at 81, Functional Industrial Estate in Patparganj. It is a big industrial area and there is always a lot of movement. Advance Steel Tubes Ltd. has a lot of space here which we need for the inventory. The tubes take up quite a bit of room as you can imagine. The yard is usually full of trucks coming in and going out at odd hours. It gets pretty dusty, especially when the wind picks up, so we are always cleaning the desks. The staff here are mostly local guys who have been working with metal for a long time. They know how to handle the heavy stuff without making a fuss. We don't have any shiny brochures or a marketing team. We just have the machines and the tubes and the paperwork. Sometimes the power goes out in the estate and everything stops for a bit, which is just how it goes around here. We sit around and wait for it to come back on. Our day starts early, usually before the sun is fully up, to beat the worst of the traffic. It is hard work but it is honest. We don't make big promises, we just try to get the tubes loaded correctly and sent to the right sites. It is a straightforward operation and we like keeping it that way without any extra complications. We usually head home once the last truck is gone.
