You have to head out to Amloh Road in Village Toora to find Bhambri Steels Pvt. Ltd. Being out in the village means we have a bit more space, but it’s still a busy place once the trucks start rolling in. We deal with steel, which is heavy and requires a lot of space to move around. The yard is usually full of inventory, and the weather really dictates how our day goes. If it rains, everything gets muddy and slow, but we still have to get the orders loaded. We aren't some sleek city office with air conditioning in every corner. It’s a gritty, practical environment where we focus on the weight and the grade of the steel we’re handling. The staff here mostly lives nearby, so there’s a local feel to the way we talk and work together. We don’t have a marketing department writing nice things about us. We just have our reputation in the steel trade and the physical work we do every day. Sometimes the machinery needs a lot of grease and some coaxing to stay running, but we make it through. It’s a lot of long hours watching the gates and checking the weighbridge. We’re just a bunch of people trying to run a steel business out on the edge of town, doing the best we can with what we have. It’s a rough trade, but there’s a certain satisfaction in seeing the big loads leave for their destination.
