Dhiman Iron And Steel Industries is set up right on G.T. Road. Being on such a major road means there is never a quiet moment. We have got trucks passing by at all hours, and the noise is just part of our daily life here. The facility handles a lot of iron and steel processing. It is heavy work, and the machines are pretty loud when they are running full tilt. We do not have any polished showrooms or air-conditioned lobbies. Most of the space is taken up by raw materials and the gear we use to move them. The floor is concrete and usually has some scrap metal lying around. We try to keep it tidy, but in a place like this, it is a constant battle. The crew here is a group of hard-working folks who do not mind getting their hands dirty. We have got some older guys who have been here since the start and some younger ones learning the ropes. G.T. Road gives us good access for transport, which is the main reason we are here. It is practical, if nothing else. We do not talk much about theories or visions. We just look at what needs to be cut or moved and we get to it.
