Mahabir Steel Rolling Mills

Our mill is out on Amlom Road. It is a long stretch of road and we have a good bit of space there. Rolling steel is what we do every day. It is loud and the machinery is heavy. You can hear the metal being worked from the gate. We don't have any fancy offices or shiny floors. It is a steel mill, so everything is covered in a bit of soot and iron dust. Amlom Road isn't the busiest place, but it works for us. We have the space we need for the furnaces and the rollers. The guys work hard here. It is a tough environment, especially in the summer months when the air feels thick. We just focus on the steel. There is a lot of moving heavy bars around and making sure the machines are running right. If something breaks, we fix it ourselves. We have been doing this a long time. The trucks come in with raw material and leave with the rolled steel. It is a simple cycle. We don't spend time on long meetings or anything like that. We just get to the mill, do the work, and head home. Amlom Road has become like a second home to most of us who spend twelve hours a day here. We don't worry about being the biggest, just getting the orders filled as they come.
