Karam Steel Corporation

Our place is on Nasrali Road, and our mail goes to P.B. No. 56. It’s a bit out of the main city center, which actually makes it easier for the big trucks to get in and out. Karam Steel Corporation has been around this area for quite some time. We’re mostly focused on the production side of things. It’s a big site with a lot of heat and heavy machinery. Working with molten metal and large steel sections is what we do. It’s not the kind of place you’d wear a suit to. Most of us are in work boots and heavy clothes. The rhythm of the place is set by the machines. When they’re running, everything is moving. When they stop for maintenance, it’s a different kind of busy. We don’t really have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy stories about us. We just make steel. We try to keep the quality consistent because we know our customers rely on it for their own buildings and products. The road outside can get pretty muddy during the monsoon, and the dust is constant in the summer, but that’s just Nasrali Road for you. We’ve got a good group of workers who’ve been through it all. We just show up, do the shifts, and make sure the steel is ready for shipping. It’s a long-term commitment to the trade, and we’re fine with that. It takes grit to stay in this line of work every single day.
