Ispat Profiles

Ispat Profiles is based at C-21 in the Focal Point area. This part of town is almost entirely industry. You can hear the constant hum of factories from early morning until late at night. We work specifically with steel profiles. It is very heavy stuff to handle. We spend a good portion of our time moving inventory around the floor with the crane. The floor is made of thick concrete and it is quite hard on the feet, but we have grown used to it by now. We are not a big corporate entity with a board of directors. We are just a local business trying to keep things moving. The office is small and usually has a layer of dust on the files because we keep the windows open for the breeze. We have a small team of workers who have been with us since we first opened. We know each other’s families and stories. When the weather is nice, we sit outside on the steps for our afternoon tea break. Dealing with steel is not always easy. Prices change and deliveries get delayed by the trucks, but we try to keep our customers informed. We do not use any fancy management systems here. Just a simple notebook and some hard work. If you need a specific profile, we just go out to the yard and see what is in the stack.
