Up on the 3rd floor of Shinde Complex on Niligin Road, you will find Cvk Constructions Private Limited. Hubli is a different kind of place to work than the bigger cities, and we like the pace here. The stairs up to the office are a bit steep, so we get our exercise every day. Being in Hubli-Dharwad means we deal with a lot of local folks. Our desks are usually covered in dust from the road and blueprints that never seem to stay folded. We handle construction projects around the area, mostly just making sure things get finished. There isn't a lot of quiet time because Niligin Road is always buzzing with people and vehicles. We have a small crew and we all do a bit of everything, from checking the site levels to filing the taxes. Sometimes the rain in Dharwad stops everything for a few days, and we just have to wait it out. It is a practical life, nothing like what you see in the movies. We don't have a receptionist or anything, just whoever is closest to the door opens it. Most of the time we are wearing dusty boots because we just came back from a site visit. We’ve been at this for a while and we just keep plugging away at the next project.
