Sudar Integrated Farmer Producer Company Limited is based in Sulaimedu Village, specifically at No.4/136. We are near Uthamasolapuram Post if you are trying to find us. We call it "integrated" because we don't just stick to one thing. Some of us have vegetables, others have different crops, and some have a bit of livestock. It is a way of life here in the village. We realized that by grouping together, we could handle the business side of farming better than we could alone. It's a lot of small-scale farmers trying to make a living. You can usually find someone at the village office talking about the latest prices or complaining about the pests. We don't have a slick website or a marketing department. We just have our hands and the dirt we work in. The village is small, so everyone knows everyone else. When someone's tractor breaks or they need an extra hand with the harvest, we try to step in. It is about keeping the farming tradition alive in Sulaimedu while trying to be a bit more modern with how we sell our products. We deal with the day-to-day problems of agriculture, like water issues or getting the produce to the market before it wilts. It’s honest work, even if it’s messy and unpredictable most of the time. We are just a group of neighbors at 4/136 looking out for each other. That is the way we operate.
